A dose of the wrong medicine

Granaatboskolk has a little problem.  His sex life is so te sê morsdood.  At first Sannie, his wife, could get him going if she cranked him up like she did the model-T Ford trokkie but even that is not helping anymore.

This state of affairs worries ou Martinus and the worry make him
constipated.  Eventually its weeks since he has visited the kleinhuisie and he is in agony.  And then to cap it all, the new expenisve bull he has bought refuses to take any interest whatsoever in the cows. So he sends for the vet.

While the vet is examining the bull Martinus tells him about the
debilitating constipation he is suffering.

"No problem", says the vet ,  he will give him something to clear it up - "mind you its strong stuff, a veterinary medicine". Martinus says he is willing to try anything.

So the vet doses the bull and then gives Martinus a pill to swallow. Half way back to his surgery he realises, with all the talking, that he - ingedagte - swopped the pills round.  He turns the car round and races back to Martinus's farm.  When he gets there he can hear one
hell of a racket.

He grabs Jannie, Martinus's son and demands, "What's happening?"
"Nee, " says Jannie, "Ma is flou, sussie kruip agter die stalle weg,  die
hond en die kat  lê vrek in die agterplaas, die jaart is kniediep in die kak en pa jaag die hoenders rond."
